Let’s get those blades sharp!

If your home or busness is located in the Sydney Metropolitan area, I will be glad to come to you. Appointments can usually be filled within a few days – sometimes sooner if you are in a jam with non-performing knives and no back-up. I am committed to providing pro-quality sharpening and prompt service that accommodates your schedule. All work can be done at your restaurant, commercial kitchen or residence or in my mobile workshop, I am based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney; however, I operate throughout the whole of the Sydney Metropolitan area. In an attempt to incorporate our travel expenses, our on-site service and pick-ups may be subject to a minimum number of items (8) per visit, or a small travel fee according to your location. If you’d like to take advantage of my on-site Sydney service, we ask that you organize at least 8 knives to sharpen. (This is easy – we sharpen all types of blades – knives, scissors, tools etc. Or, just get some of your neighbours’ knives, tools or scissors to make up the numbers). Otherwise, just drop your knives at my place in Freshwater for a 24-hour turnaround time. All knives are not made equally. I approach each knife differently, depending on its chemical composition, shape and purpose. Determining these aspects will determine the edge angle and the method used to ensure that your blades are not only the sharpest they have ever been but sharper for longer.
